A pair of compound cabinets (dasijiangui) of rectangular form. The doors are from matching wood cut from a single timber fitted flush to the frame. At the bottom of the cabinets is a shaped and well carved apron with entwined, vigorous branches The interior is fitted with two internal drawers and a single camphor wood shelf, at the base of the cabinet is a removable panel concealing a hidden storage space. The hat box is also fitted  with an internal shelf.
