Distressed Luxe July 22, 2016

Plain, pristine walls are so yesterday. This season, walls are getting a distressed makeover with a luxurious twist.

The key to this trend is minimalist, with texture creating depth and dimension to the space. Oxidized and polished stones and metals can create warmth or movement; playing off a neutral palette, distressed metal can be mixed with thick sumptuous linens or velvets. Utilizing the metallic lustre of metal and the stony sheen of plaster and concrete, distressed never looked so glamorous!
