    Based at: Design Centre Chelsea Harbour, Lots Road, London, SW10 0XE
    Reports to:  Sales Manager & Managing Director

    Summary of Main Duties and Responsibilities:
    To oversee the day to day running of the Showroom to ensure that the Showroom is visually merchandised to an excellent standard, and to ensure that the highest levels of Customer Service are given at all times.

    Brand Image
    •    Maintaining the Altfield image to the highest standards.
    •    To ensure that the Showroom and all displays are neat and tidy and operational at all times.
    •    To assist with stock management and ordering.
    •    Designing & coordinating window displays

    Customer Service
    •    To ensure that Altfield Customers are extended the highest levels of customer service at all times.
    •    To deal promptly with Customer complaints, in accordance with Company policy
    •    To provide accurate advice on colour and suitability.

    Sales Targets
    •    To work with the Showroom Team to ensure that sales targets are exceeded.
    •    To maximise sales opportunities.

    General 
    •    Responsibility for display of all marketing items and stationery.
    •    To assist in the reviewing of systems on an ongoing basis to improve efficiency and service levels
    •    Overseeing the rest of the team and highlighting any training issues which may be identified.
    •    Key holder responsibilities.
    •    Misc. administrative tasks as and when required.

    Skills/Knowledge/Experience
    •    High end customer service and luxury retail experience
    •    Ability to work in a high paced environment and to multitask
    •    Exceptional communicator both written and verbal
    •    Proven sales and customer satisfaction record
    •    Familiarity with local market

    Title:  Showroom Assistant

    Reports to:  Showroom Manager
    Contact:  Emma Lack, HR Manager – emmalack@altfield.com

    Summary of Main Duties and Responsibilities:
    To assist the Showroom Manager and Assistant Showroom Manager in the day to day running of the Showroom to ensure that the Showroom is visually merchandised to an excellent standard, and to ensure that the highest level of Customer Service is given at all times.  Placement is first port of call for clients entering the showroom for immediate assistance.

    Brand Image
    •    Maintaining the Altfield image to the highest standards.
    •    To ensure that the Showroom and all displays are neat and tidy and operational at all times.
    •    To assist with stock management and ordering.

    Customer Service
    •    To ensure that Altfield Customers are extended the highest levels of customer service at all times.
    •    To deal promptly with Customer complaints, in accordance with Company policy with the Showroom Manager.
    •    To provide accurate advice on colour, suitability and FR.

    Sales Targets
    •    To assist the Showroom Manager in ensuring that sales targets are exceeded.
    •    To maximise sales opportunities.

    Front of House Duties:
    •    Answering the all phone calls if Front of House is unable.
    •    Assisting any walk ins though consultation, scheming, sample picking.
    •    Assisting Showroom Manager with display and layout of showroom and visuals are kept on par.

    Back Room Duties:
    •    General backroom upkeep.
    •    Ensuring emails are printed and processed throughout the day.
    •    Alternative pulls/selections for clients are made for all requests, discontinued, and sent requests.
    •    Liaising with Sample Librarian with any issues arising.
    •    Assuring all UPS and Post is done and ready in a timely manner with the Showroom Assistants/Sample Librarian.
    •    Working with Sample Librarian to make sure sample replenishment is being upkept and sampling stock is addressed.
    •    Misc. administrative tasks when required.

    Skills/Knowledge/Experience
