    Overview of Responsibilities:

    We are a busy, friendly team working within a lively atmosphere and currently looking for maternity cover for a period of two years with the possibility of a permanent position after.

    The sale of products to external clients is the primary objective of the Sales Executive. This requires a comprehensive understanding of the products coupled with an ability to make presentations to clients. This role requires exceptional organisational and sales skills ensuring a full diary of appointments is achieved each week targeting both current and new clients. Strengthening and developing strong client relationships through social, professional and sales skills as well as providing excellent service are fundamental to this role.

    Key areas of Responsibility:

    • Meeting and exceeding sales targets and actively creating growth.
    • Ensuring a full diary of pertinent targeted clients each week.
    • Building and maintaining road kits for presentations.
    • Maintaining and updating client data base including noting who you have seen or called on, products you have presented and reactions.
    • Maintain and update client targeting spreadsheet.
    • Suggest and create new sales initiatives.
    • Communicate, generate and discuss new sales leads.
    • Follow up sales leads handed to you by the Senior Sales Executive, Managing Director, Showroom or Sales support staff.
    • Record valuable sample stock distributed on data base such as books or hangers.
    • Travel to diverse locations though mainly in London and home counties.

    Consults with: Sales Manager

    Term of Employment: Full time. Normal working hours 9.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Additional hours and days may be required during exhibition times.

    Requirements: Clean UK Driving License.

    Title: Sampling Support
    Department: Showroom
    Based at: Design Centre Chelsea Harbour, London, SW10 0XE
    Reports to: Showroom Manager

    Overview of Responsibilities:
    We are a busy, friendly team working within a lively atmosphere and currently looking for Sampling Support to work in our back of house; assisting our showroom team and ensuring that our sampling system is organised and kept up to date.

    Brand Image

    • Maintaining the Altfield image to the highest standards
    • To ensure that the Showroom and all displays are neat and tidy and operational at all times
    • To assist with stock management and ordering of sampling

    Customer Service

    • To ensure that Altfield Customers are extended the highest levels of customer service at all times
    • To deal promptly with sampling and ordering
    • To maximise sales opportunities, additional thoughtful sampling

    Back Room Duties:

    • Sorting and stickering of sampling.
    • Pulling, assembling and packaging of Rep team requests. Creating an ‘unboxing’ experience.
    • Assuring all UPS and Post is done and ready in a timely manner
    • Addressing, ordering, and upkeep of sampling and keeping back room and downstairs tidy
    • Misc. administrative tasks when required

    Skills/Knowledge/Experience

    • Awareness of High-end customer service and luxury retail, preferably in Interiors market
    • Ability to work in a high paced environment and to multitask
    • Exceptional communicator both written and verbal
    • Familiarity with local market a plus
